Paul McCusker was one of the team that founded Adventures in Odyssey back in 1987. While working with Continental Ministries in Thousand Oaks, California in 1986, Paul was asked by his good friend (and boss) Chuck Bolte if he'd be interested in writing for a new radio drama series. At the time, Chuck was a consultant with an organization called Focus On The Family and they were developing a twelve-part series called Family Portraits. Paul admitted that he knew nothing about writing for radio, but was keen to try. Within a year, Family Portraits became Odyssey USA, which is better known as the long-running and successful Adventures In Odyssey. Now, twenty years later, Paul has written over 300 half-hour radio dramas, 18 novels and two animated videos. And his work with the show continues as he currently serves as its Consulting Producer.
